Who We Are
Natural Born Heroes is a specialist provider of Occupational Violence and Aggression (OVA) safety management training. We provide critical incident response training to organisations experiencing violence in the workplace. We offer an interactive experience centred on effective de-escalation communication (verbal/nonverbal), pre-contact cue identification and best practice in personal safety management.
We empower our clients by enhancing their capability to effectively navigate volatile and high-pressure situations during heightened emotional states. Our training methodology is underpinned by the latest research and experiential training self-protection and safety management.

Nick Raftopoulos
PostGradDipPsych, GradDipPsych, AFIN, BA.
Nick is a provisional psychologist (PSY0002470998) currently completing a Master of Psychology (Organisational) at Deakin University. As a fitness industry professional with over 20 years’ experience and the Director of Black Wolf Training, Nick provides a range of services covering general physical preparedness, specialised sport performance and critical incident response training. These include military defensive tactics, S.P.E.A.R training, OVA training, stress inoculation and psycho-education training relating to fear, stress, violence, and aggression.
Nick is also a Director of Twinsight Pty Ltd established in 2019. Twinsight is a technology and predictive analytics company providing data-driven mechanisms that empower organisations to transform employee engagement, create value, retain talent and enhance performance.
Nick holds a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA), a Graduate Diploma of Psychology from Swinburne University, a Post Graduate Diploma of Psychology (Advanced) from Monash University.
